NIOS Regional Centre
Dehradun

The Regional Centre of NIOS was established in Dehradun 2006 as a Sub-Centre and was upgraded to full Regional Centre in 2010. It covers the state of Uttarakhand and some parts of western Uttar Pradesh. Set amongst the picturesque background of lush green mountains of the lower Himalayas. This Regional Centre has 234 Accredited Institutes or study centres for academic courses (Secondary/Sr. Secondary); 82 for vocational courses and 31 for basic education. The facility of ON-Demand examination was introduced in 2010. About 50,000 students take admission every year in various courses.
